A: If paying with credit card/PayPal payment is due in full at least one day prior to first day of service. If paying with cash/check payment is due on the first day of service. Most clients pay on a monthly basis, but I can accommodate case-by-case payment plans for billing every week or every two weeks. Q: Do you have any specials or give discounts? A: Yes, there will be a $10 fee added for services on all Federal Holidays (Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve & New Years Day) Q: What is your cancellation policy? A: I am very lenient and won't charge a cancellation fee as long as it's done before I arrive but I ask that you please give me as much notice as possible. I don't issue refunds but will give you equal credits that never expire to use on your next booking. Q: What is the difference between a Walk and a Drop-In Visit? A: Walks take place while you are working and take place between 10 am-4 pm weekdays. These include potty breaks and physical exercise either walking or playing in your yard or at the community dog park (if allowed). These can be scheduled as frequently or infrequently as your work schedule demands. Drop-In Visits are scheduled over the weekend, outside of my normal business hours and any other time when you are away traveling. Your pets will stay in your home and I will check in on them as many times as you'd like to feed, freshen water, give treats, administer medicine, walk, play and cuddle with them and clean up pet messes. Q: Can you take care of my cats and other small pets? A. Absolutely! Even though I am allergic to cats, I have lots of experience feeding, freshening water, scooping litter boxes, administering medicine on a timed schedule and finding scared cats that may be hiding. In addition I will also clean up any messes/accidents that happen while you are away and make sure your home is well-kept by watering plants, rotating blinds/curtains, bringing in mail/packages, turning lights on/off to your preference as well as temperature control. I will provide you the peace of mind with daily photos of your cats after every single visit. My husband grew up with a cat and is a big fan of all felines. When he is available over the weekends or in the evenings he likes to accompany me and provide the extra cuddly pets and playful games that some cats love, with pet owner permission of course! As far as other small pets go, my professional experience has included a parakeet, a tortoise and a rabbit. I am excited to learn and give all of your animals; furry, feathery or scaly the same detailed and thoughtful care that you provide them. Please note on the home page, cats and small pet prices start at a different rate than dogs and I charge per time not per pet if there are multiple. Q: What is your inclement weather policy? A: During extreme weather/temperatures, dogs may receive shorter potty breaks and will finish the remainder of their time playing or receiving care inside. During rainy, snowy or cold conditions please leave a coat or drying towel out for your dog and I'd be happy to dress them prior to our walk and dry them off afterwards. Inclement weather may include heavy rain, thunderstorms, high winds, snow, extreme cold (real feel less than 32 degrees) or extreme heat (real feel higher than 100 degrees). Please let me know if you have concerns before the scheduled walk and I can also reschedule your dog for a shorter and cheaper visit or cancel and save your credit for future use. Q: I live in (insert city) can you walk my dog? A: I service clients in Fair Oaks (Fairfax, VA) between West Ox Rd. and Waples Mill Rd and between US 66 and 29 Lee Hwy. (See map on bottom of home page) I may have additional availability for communities in Fair Lakes (Fairfax VA) or downtown Fairfax during evenings or weekends on an as-needed basis. |
