I've been a professional dog walker and pet sitter since December 2015, providing services for over 300 dogs from puppies to seniors, 45 cats, a parrot, a tortoise, a rabbit and a fish. My passion for pet care began in North Carolina after I worked with a CPDT for my Corgi puppy, Mickey, using positive reinforcement. As of March 2018, Mickey became a certified Canine Good Citizen. In December 2019, my husband and I rescued an affectionate Terrier mix we named Belle from HART (Homeless Animal Rescue Team). For her first 4 months living with us she was in rehabilitation and on strict medical crate rest but with our patient and responsible care she made a full recovery from Heartworm Disease! We volunteered several hours each week for 3.5 years to give back to our favorite local animal rescue hart90.org.
